To employ ThingSpeak as a tool to analyse and survey the weather parameters from a public channel.

Able to collect measurements by the sensor through ThingSpeak.
Advantages:

The data can be retrieved from public channel with the readings using Matlab code and transferred to a private channel to ease the analysis of data.

The data provided with high accuracy due to the ability of ThingSpeak application to store and process real-time information from the sensors.

ThingSpeak can be logged in easily by using the Matlab account.

The data collected can be visualized effortlessly by using free widget features of ThingSpeak.
Disadvantages:

Limited amount of fields with only eight data fields provided for each channel.

Data platform is adhered to the policies of the service providers.

ThingSpeak does not provide the services for sending alerts to the users regarding the changes in value of the parameters.
